Quick Shrimp Gumbo recipe
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of cooking oil.
2 tablespoons of flour.
1 cup of okra.
Salt and black pepper, to taste.
1 can of chicken and rice soup.
2 cans (4 ½ oz) of shrimp, rinsed.
Rice, cooked, to serve with.
Directions:
Make a roux with the cooking oil and flour. Brown until a dark brown color.
Add the okra, salt and pepper.
Add the soup and shrimp. Simmer until hot.
Serve over rice.
